3.27.20 Announcements & Letter

March 27, 2020
By Public Relations

Dear CHA Community,

Congratulations on completing the first week of remote learning! Thank you for working hard and working together to maintain a #UKNIGHTED mindset in our school community during this time of remote learning.

Here are a few changes for next week:

Assignments will be due by the end of the week on Friday, April 3rd, rather than daily. Please make use of this flexibility to complete assignments during the most optimal times for your student and family throughout the week.

Hard copy assignments must be delivered to the school on Saturday, April 4th.  Students who are/have been unable to submit work digitally (email, Remind, photo) to their teachers must drop off their RLP Packet, with hard copies of their assignments, in the RLP Drop/Pickup Box on campus. The plastic bin will be clearly labeled and located on the front porch of the Castle.

Wednesday, April 1st, will now be a Teacher Workday.  Faculty, staff, and administrators will use this day to collaborate and begin preparations for the next period of remote learning that will start after Easter Break. Therefore, teachers will be unavailable for any virtual office hours for that day.

RLP Presentation on Friday, April 3rd -- Next Friday, I’ll be sharing a special presentation to discuss, in detail, the next phase of our Remote Learning Plan and other important information about finishing the year.  We will announce a time and methods to attend the presentation early next week.

In closing, I want to humbly encourage you to attend one of the many virtual worship services, so many churches in our area are offering.  Community is God’s design for his children, even during this time of social distancing. Have a blessed and restful weekend!

#UKNIGHTED,
