On Friday, January 19th, Christian Heritage Academy held its Annual State of the School meeting. During the State of the School, CHA Head of School, Mr. Josh Smallwood, revealed the newly revised plan for their Forward in Faith Campaign.
The original plan was for CHA to be moved across town to Cornell Road once the new school was built. Mr. Smallwood announced that the Board of Directors and school administration prayerfully discussed and researched how CHA could preserve the history and heart of the school by remaining on Cooper Campus while still creating enough space for our growing attendance.

The campus improvements will be done in several phases, which include adding classrooms to the second floor of The Castle and adding an addition to connect Heritage Hall (secondary building) and The Castle (gymnasium and cafeteria). The school’s top priority is to get all CHA students attending school on one campus, which will be possible with the completion of phase one, adding classrooms to the second floor of The Castle.

A Forward in Faith capital campaign will begin to raise funds for Cooper Campus's development in the coming months. If you would like more information on how to become involved in this project, reach out to Grace Altice at 540-483-5855.

"Psalm 126:3 says, "The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy."  For 43 years, the Lord has provided for and directed CHA as we have sought to make available the opportunity for a Christ centered education for families in Franklin County.  He continues to direct our steps and is leading us into an exciting time of growth and development.  I am excited to see the ways He will provide as we move forward with these new plans while preserving the history and memories of the last 43 years at our current location on the Cooper Campus."
