Rocky Mount, VA (May 15, 2018) - After announcing Mrs. Jessica Hacker as the school’s first Associate Director of Academics last month, administrators at Christian Heritage Academy are actively filling key teaching positions as new students and families continue to enroll in record numbers.

Replacing Mrs. Hacker’s vacant Kindergarten teacher position will be current K4 Aide, Mrs. Becky Mason. Mrs. Mason holds a Bachelors of Science from Ferrum College and has shown a great level of energy and commitment to the school over the past two years. She is a strong fit for the elementary team, school philosophy, and community culture.

“I will give 200% to the children, parents, and school,” shared Mason.

In another internal hire, Miss Ashley Hodges will be moving from the Elementary Resource teacher to Second grade, as Mrs. Julie Reed secedes that position to focus on preparations for starting a family.

“I am excited for this new opportunity God has blessed me with, and look forward to educating young children to love and glorify Him in the 2nd grade,” stated Hodges.

Miss Hodges joined the CHA faculty last fall as the Elementary Resource teacher and After-care coordinator and has been instrumental in the success of those two programs.Miss Hodges holds a Bachelors of Science from Ferrum College.

“We’re excited to see each of these teachers take on new roles and are confident in following the Lord’s leading in each situation,” said Mr. Tony Quist, Head of School.
