ur desire is to help students develop a Christ-like character by becoming actively involved in the social atmosphere of the school. Whether our students are competing on the soccer field, planning a class trip, playing guitar in Chapel, running our Heritage 5K classic, serving our local community, or simply enjoying being with their friends; students at Christian Heritage academy are given ample opportunity for character development outside the classroom.
The Power of Relationships
We believe in the power of strong relationships. Solomon wrote that “a cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart” in the book of Ecclesiastes and we aim to foster relationships of that strength. Student life at CHA is set in the context of strong relationships among faculty, staff, students, parents, and volunteers as well. We believe that Christ-centered relationships are the cords that hold Christian Heritage Academy together.
Student Government Association (SGA)
At Christian Heritage Academy, part of our efforts to train a student for a life of service to God and their fellowman includes developing the leadership potential in our students. Our Student Government Association (SGA) is part of our leadership training in that it provides an opportunity for students to support the faculty and staff, as well as lead their classmates in effort to contribute to the school and the community. We uncover teachable experiences as the SGA members lead their classmates and fulfill the additional responsibilities assigned to them.
In addition to a Biblically-based curriculum, Christian Heritage Academy nourishes the maturation of each Christian through weekly chapel services. Our Chapel programs are structured to include music, guest speakers, multi-media, and solid Biblical teaching. We incorporate expository, textual, and topical teaching ineffort to reach students at various degrees of spiritual maturity, as well as learning styles.
Our goal is to edify each student by preaching the Word of God and allowing the Holy Spirit to teach the Truths therein.
At Christian Heritage Academy, we believe our most successful moment comes when a student graduates with a Biblical Worldview; able to discern Truth among lies; with a commitment to live out his life as a Christian before all mankind. It is our desire to seek out programs, curriculum, and strategies for maintaining a relevant approach, within the context of biblical principles, to training each student for a life of service to God and their fellowman.
