CHA families came together on Friday, September 8 to kick off the school year with our first-ever Back-to-School Bash (B2SB)! Thanks to the efforts of CHA’s Administrative Assistant, Jennifer Gaubatz, and the SGA, more than 250 people from the CHA community took part in an evening of fun.
In planning B2SB, the intention was to start the new school year by celebrating all that God is doing at CHA. Mr. Tony Quist, Head of School, shared with attendees that CHA has seen a 12.5% increase in enrollment, including 35 new students this year. At 162 students, enrollment is the highest in CHA’s history.
On this beautiful evening, families took part in playing corn hole, face painting, hayrides, inflatables, and games. Pizza and ice cream from Homestead Creamery were enjoyed by all. Attendees also took to the lawn with chairs and blankets to enjoy chapel team performances, as well as live music from a local Bluegrass band.
“Events like this – where we all come together – are some of my favorite times at CHA,” said Mr. Quist.
Thank you to all who participated. We look forward to the second annual B2SB!
